1.6 Rockers l98?

I was wondering if anyone had a link or maybe some specs on what kind of 1.6 rockers I could use on my stock heads with stock cam. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a few choices with part numbers from Summit. Be sure to go with a narrow body, self aligning rocker if you're retaining your stock heads and pushrods.

ive herd that if you run 1.6rr on a the stock cast iron heads you can pull the rocker studes out...is this true, arnt they just press in studes? i have a 487-495 lift cam with 1.52rrs so im over .500lift i do have better springs to handle it but ive been told dont go with a 1.6 cus i light pull them out.

You can pull the studs out if you exceed a certain poundage from the springs (not sure what that figure is).. the 1.6 rockers will only affect this situation by opening the valve a bit more at peak lift (resulting in a little more spring pressure at open).. You're risking pulling the stock studs with any kind of better cam/springs...

Oh, and to the original poster, I'd recommend some Comp Cams Magnum Roller-tip rocker arms... Just get the self-aligning ones if you have stock heads..

Ive been following this thread and have a concern now. I just purchased a ZZ9 cam from TPiS and am looking at getting 1.6 rr. Will this have an effect on pulling the stock studs out. I havent heard of this possible problem b4. Just curious now, I dont want to cause any damage.
