305 tpi help

I have a 305 tpi auto with 87,000 miles on it. here is what I have saved up and bought for it some parts are on and some are still sitting in my garage.

Edelbrock 6872 tes headers
3" exhaust
flowmster 80 series
stage 2 super chip
ram air intake
air foil
t/b bypass
aluminum driveshaft
3.73 gears
b/f goodrich drag radials
trans go shift kit
corvette servo
lowering springs
afpr
2-piece pullies
8.8 wires
e3 plugs
1.6 magnum roller tip rocker arms
ported intake

What am I missing?? if I am missing anything.

I cant think of anything else to save for so if you see somthing that would help me get faster times plz say it.( I want to run 13.5-13.9)

My goal is to beat my friends 99 stang he ran 13.6.

I ran 15.0 with
flowmaster,chip,air foil, t/b bypass,plugs ,wires , msd coil.

The car runs great. So any help would be great also any imput would be great to.

And yes I have thought about spray but im looking at bolt on's first.

I think the 3.73's might be a little too much for a tpi car IMO I would go with 3.42's

well there's always a new cam, bigger injectors, bigger runners, different heads or porting your heads and bigger valves. and a tuned prom chip. all of that could make a big difference.

LB9GTA..... What comp cam did you use??

And how many miles is on your car?? Im not sure what a 87,000 mile old bottem end will handle. Cause I was thinking a wet 100 shot?? But i dont know.

What do you guys think I would run now?? anyone have a clue.

But plz more info if you guys can.

What would be better/ cheaper? getting my heads ported and polished or just buying new heads??

xe258hr, it is 206/212 with .480/.487 and a 110lsa.

And how many miles is on your car??
87,500 miles or 140,000km. Do a compression check on your car. If everything looks good, then let-er-rip. But start small and work your way up. Do all the proper fuel mods to your system(pump,afpr...)

What would be better/ cheaper? getting my heads ported and polished or just buying new heads??
To take off your heads(only $'s here would be the fluids and gaskets and time) and to port the heads would be about $100-150 for a porting kit. You might get 20hp.
You can buy a set of alum L98 heads for $500 and them for them......

On ebay a guys sells stock already redone 305 tpi heads for 150 per head.

Plus 150-200 in porting and polishing that wouldnt be that bad but i dont know.

What is a good company of n20 to run? And i have a dual gauge pod on my a piller that i just put in but if i run n2o what gauges should i put in there.

n2o pressure??

fuel pressure??

Here is the head
10088113...88-up...350..........Aluminum, 58cc, angle plug, raised "D" port exhaust, 1.94"/1.5" valves

Check on ebay, I bought a set for about $450usd or here on the classifieds on TGO.

As for a good wet nitrous kit, I dunno. Mine is a dry kit.

Everything else in the build is solid. While I highly doubt those mods will get you a 13.5, I'm absolutly positive an NOS 5151 kit will get you that and beyond. Go with NGK TR6 plugs or 1 step hotter regular AC Delco plugs, nothing fancy. Your factory prom is fine if you're spraying; leave it at 6 degrees timing. If you do anything with the prom in the future, get into programming your own this site will guide you. Go with a better muffler once again search the site (I'm partial to Classic Chambered Mufflers). Lowering springs will hurt you on the launch and you have to buy LCA relocation brackets to correct your suspension geometry, I'de save the money if you're wanting to drag race it and apply it towards more drag race oriented struts. Good luck on the build. I remember about a year back my friend bested a 13.5 in his 98 Mustang GT spraying the car. Back then I was in the low 14's and I told myself I could run those times with no spray. This winter without ever going into the motor I ran a pair of 13.5's last day of race season so anything is possible just keep at it and plan everything carefully.
