Injector flow numbers on my V8 - Need advice PLEASE
Alright, so I finally tested my injectors.
4 of them flowed at 22lb/hr, the other 4 flowed at 23lb/hr.
The funny thing is, they all have part numbers for 19# injectors.
Since the flow rates are within the +/- 5% limit, I shouldn't need new injectors (because new ones are sold as "precisely flow matched to +/- 5%").
Question: how should I arrange the 22# and 23# units so that the engine works the best and the emissions are the best?
I believe that if I put all 22-pounders on the driver side, then the 23-pounders on the pass side would run a little rich. And if I do it the other way, the pass side might run lean. If I interleave them, that might confuse the computer (varying air/fuel mixture seen by the oxygen sensor).
What do injection gurus recommend?
Thank you
Lou
