Idle Issues still after IAC reset

Idle Issues still after IAC reset
OK, so I followed the IAC reset procedure, and I was idling perfectly right around 600rpm with everything reconnected. I then went for a drive and then noticed that the car was sporadically idling between 1200-1500 when I would come to a stop with the clutch in. I noticed that if I fiddled with the gas, slightly revving up, that it would come back down to where it was supposed to be at.
Now, I didnt clean the IAC Valve, and I didnt do the procedure either to Test the TPS, so I am not sure if maybe one of those 2 things is my issue.
I figured I would check with the people in "the know" and get some feedback.
The car runs great, very throttle responsive, its just idling funning randomly.
Thanks in advance for your guidance guys.

Hmmm there may be some carbon built up in the IAC if you didn't clean it....seems like its getting a bit stuck at times.

could be the dirty IAC as mentioned but I would think more towards an out of adjusted TPS. if you adjusted the throttle plates without doing the tps it is thinking you have the throttle open and its opening the IAC up a little and maybe doing things with timing and fuel injectors to raise the idle. Heres my suggestion, take the IAC out clean it well then clean the throttle plates out as well as the passages for the IAC. You can then reset your min idle setting but dont foget to reset the TPS or youll still have the problem.

Your throttle could be sticking open also. I had that happen after I cleaned it, until I lubed it a little. It'll stick a little, easily, if it's been cleaned (and left dry), and if the throttle shaft is a little worn, and if the engine is pulling a vacuum on it. Combine those problems, and it's easy to see why. To test if this is the problem, before fixing it, get the problem to occur, then open the hood, and force the throttle closed, and see if the RPMs drop.

That sounds exactly like what's been happening with mine. I have to just tap the gas when I press in the clutch for it to settle back down. I thought the throttle return spring had sprung, but it hadn't. Where would I lubricate on the TB?

tapping the throttle doesnt always work, so im not sure.
I'll have to wait till I can get home to play around with it some to see.
Thanks for all of the tips.
if I was going to lube up the TB, where would that be? around the spring on the drivers side bottom of the TB?

I sprayed something, probably just WD40 or whatever was handy (but not sure if that's kosher with sensors, but it worked). There's 3 places - left, middle, and right (take the intake air duct off).

Funny as it sounds, I had an aftermarket set of pedal covers on my car, and when I pressed in the clutch, it jumped to around 1100 rpms. I went crazy trying to find what was wrong, and I finally figured out the damn pedal covers were weighing the gas pedal down....as soon as I took them off, car ran great! Haha, just a though.

Just lightly lubricate teh pivot points for the throttle shaft, as Red/Gold indicated. Avoid getting any oil on the TPS so there is no chance of oil intrusion. While you're there, check the amount of play in the throttle shaft with the throttle plates open about 1/4. If it's excessive, you may need to bush the throttle body for the shaft.
