If your keeping the 2:73 get the TPI.
If u want to go as fast as humanly possible get the HSR.
Been there, done both.
I'm still very partial to TPI though as that torque kick is very hard to beat, t just cant pull up top.
Cant vote until I know more about your plkans and car.

will since neither are gonna pass visual unless you plumb the exhaust externally on the vortechs, go hsr, more power capability, less torque, but you can take it right off the 350 down the line and put it on your 406 torque maker!

ok im going 2 list some things that i will have on my car, like i said before iv got a vortec 350, lt4 hot cam, with crane gold 1.6 RR;s comp. ratio is 9.5:1, with a 700r4, going to put 3.73 gears, and 1 5/8 headers, and some suspension mods. and im also partial to TPI, people bad mouth it so much, id like to run 12-13;s and say ya, its gotta tpi im pretty sure that i am going to put the sdpc tpi kit on because i could simply sell the base plate and what not and go for the hsr if im not satisfied, but please post your comments thanks.

I would say TPI since it would be more fun on the street. If your reaching for better 1/4 mile runs then get the HSR. Im running the Superram since it has a little of both worlds. A Superram vortec would be pretty sick.

Check out the SDPC site. They have dynoed some different Vortec combos and have the results posted at the following link:
