TBI to TPI with digital dash

I"m planning on swapping a supercharged 305 TPI engine into my 88 trans am that currently has a 305 TBI. The engine is a mass airflow setup out of an 85 IROC with an 86' computer 1227165 (165). The 88 trans am recipient car has a digital dash and I was wondering if I will need a different wiring harness for the dash. I'm planning on buying a painless wiring harness because I don't feel like screwing with a crusty old GM one. I'm backing the engine up with a T56 out of a 97 SS camaro, but that will be a whole different hassle. Any information on the wiring nightmare ahead of me would be great, thanks.
