Ford Racing Injectors
Can anyone fill me in?
What is the difference between the Ford Racing injector kit that Summitracing has for sale as FMS-M-9593-F302 for $275, and the ones for sale at Jegs as 397-M-9593-F302 for $204 - other than the price difference of course =). Time for an upgrade.
Many thanks in advance,

Ford Racing injectors are the best thing Ford has ever made. Lots of GM guys use them. They will attach exactly the same as stock GM injectors. There is a "slight" height difference though. Some members file down the fuel rail attach points on the lower intake to lower the fuel rail slightly for better injector sealing.
If you want to stay with GM injectors my buddy (neighbor) has a almost brand new set of factory LS1 fuel injectors for sale from his 2004 GTO. They have 3500 miles on them and will fit TPI applications also. He wants $100 for them. Here's my link to the classified section with the injectors.
FYI....late model LS1 injectors are rated at 28 pounds.

I bought the set from Jegs yesterday, seemed like a good deal. They have the same Ford part# for the most part - hoping the are the same red-tops I keep reading about! I will file down the mounting surface so the rail sits a few mm's lower, and I may even replace the o-rings if the ford ones look to thin. I have the fuel rail apart too, so I'll change those o-rings as well.
