I don't know maybe I thought some people may find it interesting to see some pictures of the 9 bolt cover. Does this bother you?

I myself was wondering what this looked like, installed on a car, and whether it was already in production and being shipped. now I know.

I think the 9-bolt australian rear-end is predominantly a 5.7L TPI thing, therefore it does indeed have relevance.

When you bought the cover did the bolts come with it?
Did you pay extra for the bolts?
Can you just get them at the hardware store?

I am thinking of getting a rear end girdle, too.

I don't think the bolts came with it you have to use your existing bolts, but I ordered the optional stud kit for an extra $20.

Sorry, I didn't clarify.

It is the stud bolts I was talking about.

Do you think that you could have went to the hardware store and got the same bolts for cheaper?

I think you could probably find the studs cheaper at a hardware store.

The kit comes with studs and allen bolts for the cover. Well worth it in my opinion. Also it comes with a new gasket.

This post has nothing to do with TPI.

Should be in Transmissions and Drivetrain.

I'm sure it will get moved.

later

WHINING, you should read the little title, on top of each board, before you post. There is a reason they are there.

How much was it. I was unaware T/A actually produced a 9-bolt cover. This is sweet

I don't think you could get the studs for the differential bearing caps from a hardware store. I'm sure they're better than Gr.8, and then try to get the right length.

unless you happen to have access to some aerospace or MILSPEC stuff.
