TPI HEI distributor module

TPI HEI distributor module
I have had a hard time trying to find an aftermarket distributor module, MSD/ACCEL or otherwise, for the TPI HEI computer controlled dist.
Any info or links appreciated.
Thanks

I found an ACCEL module. Has anyone had any experience with these ones? Are there better ones?
What kind of difference can I expect? (not HP, but overall engine improvement)
ACCEL has 2 different modules for the 8 pin.
1. Part# 35362 (for my '87 IROC TPI)
2. Part# 35370 (for '90-'91 camaro TPI)
Are they different because of the MAF to SD?
What gives? Which is better, and can they be altered to work either way?
Thanks

I have the Accel one, really couldn't tell a difference between it and a stock one. Not sure if that helps you or not.

I was told by experts and it goes along with my opinion and experience as well. You won't gain anything converting to a different distributor because a TPI motor does not run above 5500 rpms. Your stock distributor is all you need, unless you plan on running above 6000 or more rpms.

MSD distributor with a module???
- anyhow, Jegs has their own brand of module for the remote coil HEI. I'm sure it's just a re-box, but I'd buy it before I'd buy Accel. -as stated though, unless you're turning higher r's, you won't have any difference. Dans87GTA is turning 5800-6k on the stock module, no issues. The only thing an aftermarket module does is allow you to turn higher rpm w/o any loss of spark.

I actually had to buy one because the stock one crapped out and my car wouldn't start then. I think it was like maybe 20 bucks at Advance Auto. Anyway, hate to butt in, just wanted to add my 2 cents.
