Pretty damn good.
Take it it was on slicks or drag radials?
Most 350 cars should be at middish 14's or better in decent tune and street tire.
Most tend to be 95-98mph or so, so your doing good so far.

14 flat is.. average for an L98 on slick, if thats on a street tire, very impressive.

Yes they are street tyres with about 2000miles on them, I drove 120mile to the track, ran the car then drove home.

O and I havent tuned the car for 5 or so years, did however take out my subs and amps..... Dont know wether i should try for a 13 or just rip straight into the motor. next event is 3 feb i was thinking throttle body bypass might do it as i was running the car hot to try to get more consistant........ DYO drag racing.

You have a VERY stout car to start with. I would say wait on ripping apart the motor. See how far you can go on a hogged out TPI with a Stall and bolt ons

my 87 L98 GTA with about the same mods as yours (even the 88 belt setup) ran a 14.97 - so I think you've got one heck of a factory freak there.

What should a completely stock internal 87 TPI run with an air foil, 1 5/8in headers, 2 1/2in exhaust with a glass pack w/out cats, Walbro 255 lph pump and MSD 6A, and Air pump delete run? Because I hit a 14.0 on baldish street tires and the motor has over 140,000 miles on it. Was that with the stock 2.73 or 2.77 gears? Because my car used to run a slower time at higher mph than it does now with 3.27. In any regard that's a decent time, keep on modding it's addictive and fun!

- i just saw that your car is a aussie car. - should be 9-bolt w/ 3.27 gears factory. I had the same, but w/ the TPI the best i saw stock(ish) was 14.72...being right hand drive and all, there could be other differneces/perks, like non-US emmissions...

Only difference is i ripped off the air pump. Those things suck, Also I had to squash one of the header tubes to clear the steering colomb. We have very good air here and the tyres barely spun even when i lanched as hard as possible 1.96 60ft.
Also there is more in my trans as the 2nd gear bands are dodgy after doing burnouts.
I just hope I can get it into the 12s easily, I have bought larger runner tubes, comp cam with 218,224 deg and 495/503 lift, afpr and a shift kit but are yet to fit any as have to make a desision on new vs recon heads. Any head advice would be welcome

12's won't be easy with reconditioned stock heads unless you use nitrous. You could go with the CNC'd ported L98's from Lingenfelter. Those are good, but that's major $$$ though. AFR 195's are another good option for your 350. Again, they're pricey like the Lingenfelters. Pro-topline is a choice you might consider. Those heads are not too expensive and there are alot of people running them on this site with good results.
The GM Vortec's are pretty cheap, compared to the others, and can give you great results. However, you'll have to run the Scoggin's Dickey intake base for them to work properly though.
