Lingenfelter 213/219 cam

I have posted a thread previously and also done lots of searches on people planning on buying and installing the LPE 216 cam (low lift 213/219 cam). However, I haven't found any posts that post any results...anybody have any for me?? I want to run this cam, but I want some real-life experiences to go from first.

TPIS used a cam that mild in a 383, and got 400 HP at 5000, and over 500 foot pounds of torque at 3200! That to me is streetable power!

Yes, but they also had some AFR heads and they were most likely ported. But it does show that if you have great heads, exhaust and intake - you really don't need a big cam to make good power.

It really depends on how well the other parts are matched up. If one of the components are mis-matched, the smaller cam won't punish you as much for your mistake as the bigger cam will.

For a big cam to work right, your components then must be well matched. Then a big cam can be a real blast.
