changing plugs with shorty headers
Hello;
I've got an L98 with Hooker 2460 shorty headers on it. My problem is that I can't seem to find a socket that will fit onto the spark plugs and still get behind the headers! Do I actually have to take my headers off to change the plugs or is there a special tool i can get?
Thanks, Kyle

Yeah,
They are called boxed end wrenches.
Use either straight or offset ones :-)
Or buy cheapie spark plug socket and cut it down and use a 3/4 wrench on it to take the plugs out.
Whatever works, plugs and headers on our cars suck period, no ifs ands or buts lol

All I did was take a 1/2 drive, 16mm short socket and ground down two flat spots on it so a 3/4" open end will fit on it.
You'll need it on 4,5, and 7.
