Installed AFPR, have a question (not about FP)
I bought a BBK AFPR about a year ago and installed yesterday on my 91 L98. I lost the intructions so I just kinda winged it. I took the old regulator guts out and put them in the new BBK housing. My BBK came with a metal disk about the size of a nickel, I couldn't figure out what to do with that so I left it out.
Anyway, car runs fine, and I can adjust the fuel pressure with the screw.
Did I miss anything obvious? Did I screw soemthing up?
Thanks guys.

The disk in my AFPR sits between the adjustment screw, and the spring , the diaphram is sandwiched between 2 metal parts, the spring side is the spring seat, the bottom side is the valve seat.

I bought the BBK one and did the exact same thing!
The fuel pressure would go all wacky until I put disk back in.
About a year later, from pulling off the vac line too many times, the stem would not stay in and had to build another one ...
The people from Canada will know that it only cost me $2!!
