What to media to bead blast my TPI
This TPI setup I have is a bit oxidized. What media should I use to bead blast it so it'll clean up nice?
Thanks for your input in advance!

Would black beauty be too abrasive?
If so what should I buy? I know there are different types you can purchase.

It all depends on the look you're going for. If you want a bright shiny finish, use glass bead. If you want a dull, dry finish, use skat magic or screened play sand. You must remove the four bottom plugs in the lower intake. If you don't, you'll pack blasting media in the bottom of the intake.
I personally like the look of steel shot. It's very abrasive, pits the aluminum, and leaves a dark finish. This is what Street and Performance uses. It produces the same finish as the Corvette TPI intakes. I have been advised that any media containing metal will cause the aluminum to show rust. I can't confirm this from experience.
