voodoo cams help

need some help/opinions: i'm thinking about changing my camshaft to a lunati voodoo 268 series with 219int./227exh.@.050
.515int./.530 exh. lift
as well as porting the upper plenum, granetelli adj. maf sensor, and maybe some different injectors. i think the injectors i have might be too big. of course this also means a new chip.would i have to worry about piston to valve clearance if i went with this cam?

any ideas would be appeciated

Not sure if that cam will work with fuel injection.

according to lunati's advertisement, it is for use with '86 and up with factory roller cam. i may have been incorrect about the 268 series part, but it is a lunati voodoo camshaft.

Sorry, I have only seen non-computerized voodoo cams. It may be for a computerized motor

Cam should be OK. Just wondering if your heads can handle the lift? Also I see no need for the adjustable MAF. Save your money. Also is the cam on 112 degree centers? I would also upgrade the factory intake manifold. I know it has been ported but still.

yes, the lsa is 112. how would the heads be a concern? i would get the matching springs to go with them. i was thinking the problem would be more with piston to valve clearence.

My only concern was that you are using stock heads and maybe they were not up to the task of the .530" lift without binding. Sounds like you are taking care of that.

I'm running .528 lift with my cam and flat top pistons with no problem. Thinking of going with a bigger cam and higher lift myself.
