Who makes a good 255 lph intank fuel pump?

Summit sells a Granatelli 255 lph stock replacement fuel pump for $126. Is there something better out there for about the same price (or less). I'm looking for a simple install with NO additional wiring etc. If you guys could post part numbers and or links to places that sell the recommended pump that would be great! --Dan

Is the Granatelli pump a nice unit?

Do you NEED a adjustable fuel pressure regulator to run a 255lph pump?

No, but it can cause the pressure to rise up under low fuel demands since the regulator might not be able to handle the return flow. I have one with my holley tbi and it wasnt a problem.

Heres a secret:

Just by a Walbro and save $$$

Granetelli among others rebags/boxes them and sells them for more than if you just find a deal on a regular "Walbro" pump lol

later
