Vacuum valve off plenum
The two vacuum fittings that come off the plenum near the distributor. One goes to the FPR the other has a 3 inch long vacumm line the goes to what looks like a valve , two more lines
then run off this valve.
While adjusting my AFPR I managed to break the valve( or what ever it is). Can someone tell me what it is and a part # to go with
it.
This sh*t allways seems to happen on a friday night.
The B*tch is i just got the car put back together.
Thanks

It's a vacuum check valve. You should be able to find them at just about any parts store. You can make it driveable by just plugging the vac. port off the intake, but your vent controls and cruise won't work.

The GM part number is 14056648. As TheGreatJ said, you can pick up a universal replacement at most part stores. Motormite 47150 should work in this case.

Ok... Kraigens does not care them. They have it as an "dealer only" item. It looks pretty strait forward.
Thanks for the part #'s. What is motormite?
Thanks.
It would be nice to have the vent controls working. It was 101 degrees today

motormite=HELP, look in the "HELP" section, they used to sell them, also check in the HELP section at autozone.

While we're on the subject, can anyone me tell the the size vacuum line coming off the check valve that goes to the cruise control? I have 5/32" on there now, but I have references that show it as 7/32" to the tee and to the accumulator ball.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Got It...Napa had nothing under the gm part number but found it under motormite.
Back on the road. Thanks
I replaced some vacuum hose. Don't know what size it is. They took the part in back and brought out hose to fit it. sorry

I'm still trying to determine what size vac line that should be. I'm leaning towards the 5/32 being the correct size now.
