I would recommend one that is about 22" long, has a helical gear at one end, and at least sixteen bumpity-round looking rings on it.
Beyond that, there are so many possible choices that you're on your own unless you can volunteer some other information about the vehicle and its intended usage. Rear gear ratio, transmission type, any other modifications, weight alterations, whether the car is used for daily transportation, and whatever else you can describe.
It will help to know if you would like to be able to use regular fuel or only higher octane, whether you plan to autocross or straight-line race, if you are considering a rear gear change and/or torque converter swap, if head work is in the offing, if you plan to install new rocker studs and valve springs, and whether you are considering intake modifications. Knowing some of that will help determine the appropriate RPM range for peak torque production, if you haven't already decided that. That will be a significant factor in camshaft selection.

Look at a Crane Powermax 2032 452/465 214/220 112 deg. P/N 104224 $269.95 @ summit. The Crane 2031 is also a pretty good choice and is smog legal for a 305. Personally I would not go more than 220 duration or .500 lift. Both of these cams are good choices for a daily driver/street car.
