TPI on a 383 stroker?
First of all i must say i'm glad to have some knowledgeable sources to hopefully answer my questions, so thanks. Now here's the deal, i'm currently building a 383 stroker, my block #3970010 it's a 4-bolt main, using a 5.7 rods, forged eagle crank, forged eagle h-beam rods, and forged aluminum SRP pistons 8.0:1 compression (future turbo setup). I was originally going to go with an easy carb setup but i got to thinking i would much rather have fuel injection even if it costs me some extra cash. Well i found this deal on ebay

and i was wondering what i would need to do to use this TPI with my 383, also this motor is going in a 3rd gen camaro. I'm currently using an early model heads (399899, 3998991) i've heard something about this setup not working with early model heads is this true? Well i think that's about all the information i can provide so far, if you can help me out with what i need to do to make this setup work, or if it can't work. Thanks for the help.

I have heard that there is a compatibility problem between early heads and the TPI heads, something to do with the angle of the center two bolts on each side.
However, I would never put a stock TPI on a 383, the stock TPI does not breath well enough for that many cubes. Heck, it even chokes a 350...
