very high oil pressure reading
whenever i start the car, the oil pressure is at about 40. but when i start to drive, it jumps to about 60 or higher. i was driving on the freeway at about 70mph and the pressure was way past 60 and it was so high the needle couldnt really go any higher. its still the stock sending unit and all and i was wondering if its just the sending unit or something like that or if it's serious problem. the pressure goes down when i idle, but then jumps right back up. i was just wondering if you guys had any ideas and if this is a serious problem or the beginning of one. thanks.

yeah got that, but the gauge is reading way past 60, is it supposed to so far that the needle is bouncing because its gone as far as it can go?

Try replacing your Oil Pressure Sending Unit. Should be just above the Oil Filter. That solved the problem for me.
