mods:
free mods
headers
off road y
cat back
ac delete
emissions delete
ported plenum
13.952 @ 97.08 w/ 2.02 60ft on 205 75 15s, 35* air in oct of 02
Thats awesome! That gives me more hope for the 305 once its back on the road with it's new T-5
I also have:
headers
cut out before cat
ported TPI w/ SLP runners and Air foil and AFPR
ac and smog delete
1.6 ratio comp magnum rocker arms
And spohn LCA, SFC, Panhard rod, and LCA relocal brackets
Now I am pretty confident I can hit 13s' on a sticky tire and some computer tuning

Ok, I just ordered all new valves, 1.5 for exhaust and I went up to 1.94 on intake. I am assuming that they had 1.84 to begin with so I will have to cut the seats out larger.
Is the 1.94 intake going to help or hurt my combo? I hope it helps because I just ordered them, my heads were also milled a little.
Here is what my heads look like now, can someone edit it and draw lines to help me unshroud the combustion chamber (if needed).
My motor mods / specs are listed in the very first post.
Thanks!

It'll help. 1.94 is about optimal for the smaller bore of the 305. Anything larger would have no to negative effect on performance and efficiency. Also, a +.040 305 is a 312, so you have a few more cubes than you thought

Also, the Vette headed intake valves are 1.94"... which can cause valve shrouding. you probably already know but this is why many people shy away from building up a 305. You can get alot more flow with the bigger bore.
When you stuff that bigger valve in our small bores, the air/fuel has less room when going around the valve and into the bore. I think the 1.84's are actually alot more efficient.

1.94 will fit, but are the 1.84's actually better.

mine is .40 over, so my bore is bigger, and I have done a full porting / blend job on the heads and bowl area. So I hope that 1.94s will work better with my combo, but do not know for sure.
What do you think, is this a good or bad or whatever?
And should I work on the combustion chamber to get rid of some shrouding?
