Custom Air Duct and filter for custom TPI install
Does anybody make custom ducting, elbows ect for a custom TPI install?
The little K&N that clamps to the throttle body is a joke I have got to have more filtering area due to the high dust areas I drive in. If I could go from the oval TB to say a 4.5-5" tube I could work from there..
The 90 degree elbows they make for the LT1 would work if the opening was bigger then 3.5" that has got to be a hell of alot of restriction for a 58 mm TB and 454 cubes.
Thanks for the input.

Try the www.ModYourCar.com.au web site. They list quite a variety of silicone hose. I would think 4" would be more than large enough. That is also what fits on your throttle body. Three and a half inch will work just fine. The 58mm throttle body has 8.190 square inches not taking away for the shaft and blades. A 3 1/2" pipe has 9.62 square inches. A four inch pipe has 12.56 square inches. So you can see the 58MM throttle body is the restriction on anything with a 3 1/2 pipe or larger. Hope this helps. Allen
