How bout this superram combo
Quick question on a superram combo.
I searched alittle bit on this topic and heard low 12's. What power will this produce. I am hoping for 400hp on a 350.
superram intake-either edelbrock base or accel superram base.
Trickflow 195's cnc'd or possible AFR 195's. smog legals
LPE 219 cam or similar. Possibly a 220/220 custom grind .525 lift on comp cams extreme energy grinds. Or 224/230 comp XE cam believe the XE276.
ZZ4 shortblock as is.
With 64 cc chambers I hear zz4 compression is around low 9's to 1 ration. Good for me, but should I get it to at least 10 to 1 with aluminum heads?
Is the XE276 cam too big for superram? I hear some are running it well but about the exhaust duration split. Trick flow and AFR flow good as is on exhaust port. Trickflow being slightly outgunned by AFR. I like trick flow cuz a bit cheaper and different. since they flow good and I hear superram likes single pattern cams, should I stay away from the XE276?

Anyone know? It should be close to if not over 400 I would think. Anyone have a combo like this and have some dyno numbers.

go with the single pattern cam.. it will work fine with the afr heads..
i'd also bump the compression up 10:1 atleast you're going to have to lower the maximum spark advance in the timming tables on the prom otherwise you're going to have knock problems

Several folks run that cam. Including me.
David 91RS/Z28= runs it on a 110LSA
OMINOUS_87 = runs it on a 112LSA
Magnum TPI =runs it on a 114LSA
All 3 cars trap over 112mph in the 1/4 mile. Full cars, full interiors, AC, etc...
So yeah, it is proven to be a real good power maker.
My combo:
383
SR/SDPC base
Etec-170 heads
276 cam
48mm TB
10.25:1

superirocz was running a similar combo prior to his turbo setup.
He had a 355 with the super ram upper and lower and trick flow heads. I'm not sure what cam he was using though. He was running 12.7 @ 111. I forget how much hp he made at the wheels, but he made 390tq at the wheels.
