Yo Trickster! The GTA rides again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As of this morning, July 3rd, 2004, the GTA rides again! It's been a long, hard road with many a pothole, but I've finally conquered it.
This morning, I was playing around with more wiring and found a wire that had burned through, but hadn't burned through the insulation on it. Fixed it, heat shrinked it, and the car started right up. Performance was poor, as the timing was still set to 0 after the last time I redid the valves. Got it reset to 6 degrees and it's running beautifully. Turns out, the fuel system was never the problem to begin with.
Monday I'm taking her to get her new shoes put on, the same shoes that have been sitting in the garage for the past two years. She will be pounding the pavement again shortly.
Trickster - thanks for all the help. I'd have sold the car if it weren't for your many e-mails.
