I'm having soooooooooooo much trouble with this vats ,I need to get it deleted out of my '89 E.C.M. I put a complete '89 T.P.I. 350 in my non vats '87 bird. As I have been reading,the injectors will not fire,which is caused by the stupid vats.The E.C.M. has a Hypertech Thermomaster chip in it. Do you know of anyone who can send the vats signal out to the vats graveyard?

Engine: 355 Converting to TPI
Transmission: Converting to 4L60/4L60E
You've got three choices:
1. Install A VATS into your car.
2. Install a VATS Bypass.
3. Remove the VATS from your ECM.
If you do a search on Yahoo or Google for GM VATS, you'll find the info that you need to do #1 or #2. #3 will require a mod done in the programming of the chip from my understanding. Myself, I'll be installing a TPI into a 77 Camino and using a VATS out of a donor car.
