fuel pressure regulator oops maybe?
so I was putting my new adj. fuel pressure reg. on and the diaphram came off the housing. pulled a little too hard to quickly. I laid it back down and put the new housing over it, but since the car is apart for the swap I have yet to put pressure through it yet. is this bad? in other words am I about to have a very leaky regulator?

hmm, I guess I should maybe clear up this situation I know what people are talking about. I pulled the cover off as I am using a BBK adj. which is just a new cover with the screw in it, it reuses the stock internals. I pulled to hard and the pink diaphram peeled off the metal block that is the bottom of the regulator. spring and every thing came with it too, all that was left was the bott block. the the spring and metal rod on the side stayed together with the outside diaphram with no ripping. now correct me if I am wrong but isn't this how they put it together? or is the diaphram stick down with a adhesive to the metal base? it would seem to me that is I got a new reguator I would still be using that metal base that is a part of the fuel rails right? I hope this gives a clearer understanding of what my problem is. that way I will understand your replies a little better.
