....305 TPI...mods listed below. Need some opinons...has a major problem starting unless i press the gas pedal down...it cranks for 15+ seconds....when it does fire, the idle isnt too great, has a hard time having a "healthy" idle for a good 20-30 seconds. When i'm driving and stopped somewhere(light, stop sign), idle isnt smooth, car shakes. No codes/no check engine light. Has stalled out a few times after a long trip. I know it runs rich b/c of the smell comming from the exhaust, and also my stainless tips are black around the lips. Last summer/fall i installed the Accel stuff, and also all new relays related to the MAFS, a new MAFS, computer, updated factory PROM and a new Idle Air Control Valve.
So what could cuase this now? Thanks.

 

Make sure that your TPS sensor is set correctly.(throttle position sensor).

 

I was thinking about that...that it might be out of adjustment or just bad. I might just take it to my mechanic to see if that is out of whack or not....someone mentioned to me the ignition system(wires, plugs, etc)....it has all new wires, cap, rotor, ign. module, plugs, coil, etc.....

 

What about the injectors?. How old are they?. Mileage?, Age?.
