In summit they have various cam/head combinations from Trick flow specialtys witht he hp ratings and whats needed to achieve it. Im looking at the 500hp/405tq 383 to refab it for a sleeper look. Now in the catalog it says it needs a victor jr intake and a 750 double pumper to make that hp. Instead of that, ill be using either an accel SR or a HSR with 30# injectors. With the SR on the 383 should the numbers be about the same? If i were to take the same combo and using a 406/400 instead of a 383/350 engine with either FI intake, what would the numbers be? can centerbolt heads bolt up to a 400 sbc?
