Engine: 355-Supercharged
Transmission: 700R4
whats guage wire should i run to the battery from the alternator ?
since the battery has been moved to the back of the car ill need to run a wire to keep the battery charged what guage should i use ?

Axle/Gears: 2.42 too high
why not just run it down to the starter? you have the big positive cable from it going to the battery so you should have no problems.

If you're wanting to run a kill switch and alternator (dual inlet/outlet switch), I know guys that are running 8 gauge from the alternator to the switch without problems. However,, I had charging problems with the 8 gauge at night,,,, with the lights on and the underdrive pullies. I bumped to 4 gauge and it cured the problem.
I'd recommend a good set of compression fit terminals like the competition stereo guys use also.
