383 guys, need header help!!!!!!!
What are you using for headers????
Here is my problem. We were mocking everything up on the engine stand this past weekend and when we put the headers on we realized that the driver side header collector points right at my basepan. My basepan is a 6qt Moroso unit, so yes it is bigger than stock. My headers are Edelbrock shorties with a y-pipe designed for a single cat car. Well with the sharpe bend on the driver's header the y-pipe is not going to reach/clear around the basepan and connect to the header. And I really don't want to end up not using these headers.....
PLEASE HELP!!!!

headers
I have the slp 1 3/4's on mine slid them in when I dropped my motor in no problems.
If you Must use your headers use your original oil pan and use a quart larger oil filter.

I've got Hedman ceramic coated shorties. So are you using a deep sump or a T pan? I'm assuming it's a T-pan, in that case you probably will have to get a custom Y-Pipe or get someone to modify your pan.
