i currently had to change ym computer in my maro and the one i replaced it with i have not put back up under the dash yet. its just hanging there. i thought i could put a chip in it before i bolt it back up in there. i was looking at the selection of them and the best ive found is the hypertech thermomaster chip. its the better chip out of the two that hypertech makes. its only $121 at summit. the 160* thermostat is only $10 too. how much would i gain from the chip and thermostat in my camaro (its in sig).

Don't do it, I actually lost 2 tenths in the 1/8th mile because of my hypertech chip!!! Spend the $120 on something proven!!

Leave the Hypercrap alone...there are several people that do custom burns that will gain you more than the Hypercrap

how much of a hp and 1/4mi gain will i see by putting a hypertech 160* thermostat, a slp tb airfoil, a asp crank pulley, lakewood lca and spohn lca relocation brackets on my car? will these mods and the ones i already have (in sig) get me into the 14's?

 

I say screw hypertech and screw burning a custom chip. Get a Prominator Pro Chip and download any Bin for a chip in Seconds. You can also download a bin or customize it on the fly. Look in the DIY Prom section. As far as the 160 stat. almost nothing
