Don't get a Holley. I had probs w/ the TB sticking. Dosen't mean everyone else had that prob. Just my .02$. I have a BBK 58MM TB on my LT1 converted intake. Works real nice.

I think 58 mm is too big for most motors. The 502 Ramjet uses a 48mm. I've heard good and bad about all of them. I think BBK is usually pretty good stuff.

Use the search function Before you dish out the money for a 58mm Throttle Body and make sure you need one.

Unless You are pushing some SERIOUS HORSE POWER you shouldn't need it.

some people actually lost a little power buy switching because Let more air in but slowed down the velocity. Don't quote me on this, use the search button and Find out.

Also Update your Profile to display you Engine Mods and Specs in your Signature. It helps to know what your Set up is like before anyone offers Recomendations.

I have a Holley 58mm TB. I bought it to match the HSR (Holley product). I had the BBK. It depends on what you want for looks. The Holley is made with better quality material and looks nicer. The BBK wasnt anything beautiful to look at IMO but it did the job just fine (it was also a 58mm). I also have a 3 1/2" custom cold air intake snaked down through my unused battery plate where my canister was. I am sucking in 1000cfm's of cool air. Then again, I also have a 500hp 406sb. It likes lots o' air! It is true that if you are running close to a stock setup you dont need 58mm. I would say 52mm max. Hope that helps.

Just to let you know I'm running a stock tb and running mid 12's.if your running near stock or a mild cam you should't need it.Unless looks is an issue.
