Stock fuel lines for HSR System

I am converting from TPI to HSR and called Holley for tech info on the swap. They gave me some interesting news I thought I would pass on to those who didn't know. You can use your stock fuel lines for the HSR. Install the HSR fuel rail 534-186 backwards and get these two fittings from Earl's...part no: 9894DBHERL and 9894DBJERL. One is for the return line and the other for the inlet.
Hope this helps anyone who wants to do this instead of re-routing fuel lines.

Even if you turn the rails around, there will still be some fabrication involved to get the lines hooked up.

So they told you that their rails would attach directly to your stock fuel lines?

Might look at the oem routing.
I had an 84 and the fuel lines all but wrapped around the tranny. When I did the EFI conversion, I installed new lines that were routed differently. Just something to look at..

not going to happen. that'll just convert where the rubber line attaches to the hard line by the driver's fenderwell. then you still have to get the line to the fuel rail. click the green banner and then click fuel line routing. Also, there is a message forum up there now.

Their fuel rail kit will fit directly with my stock lines with the Earl fittings. thats what the tech guy told me. He said to install the rail backwards and with the fittings they will hook up to the lines. My fuel lines run to the front of my engine under the TB. Thats where he told me to hook them up. I will call again and make sure.

I am aware of what others have had to do to install their HSR system. I am only stating what i was told. The guy offered this info to me. I did not ask. It sounded to me like, up until this point, you couldnt do this before. I will call again. Thanks...

you still have to get from the stock metal lines that are in under to TB to the HSR fuel rails. that's the part he's not telling you.
