Bosch LS1 22lb/hr injectors
Anyone ever heard of these? Are these a special injector better than the regular stock ones. Would they work in a normal 350 like i have?. Or is this just a tricky way to word regular injectors? Anyone have an idea on this one?

If those are LS1 injectors, they are rated 22lb/hr at 4 bar pressure, they won't flow any better than the stock LB9 injectors. If memory serves...

I kow somebody that has a brand new set of 8. They want like $198 for them, they told me they would fit 1988-1994 Chevy Camaro; Pontiac Firebird 305/350ci applications. Just wondering if that was correct.

better off getting the 25#(acutally 24.68... @ 3 bar 43.5PSI) slp injectors and have a prom with the correct injector constant burned. you will have extra injector for future mods.

Yeah, thay'd fit, but you wouldn't gain anything. I'd look for a set of 24lb/hr LT1 injectors, those are at 3 bar pressure, same as an L98, they'll flow better than those 22's. If anything, those would cause a loss of power, or force you to crank up the pressure to maintain the original power level.

What about accels 23 lb injectors and a AFPR? I really don't feel like sending my chip back out to get it reburned, i just got the car running after it sat for like a year and a half.

Those are rated at ~36, if I remember correctly, so they will flow better than stock. I have a set off my 95 Z that I am going to use on my TPI 305, they are the 24lb'ers, since I have the SVO 30lb on the LT4. Those should do OK, as long as you have the AFPR.

Start out at stock levels, that should get you a bit more fuel than the stock injectors, and I would recommend using a wideband O2 system, like a dyno, and tune it to about 13.0:1 air to fuel ratio, that's how I've always done it.

Heh, most dyno's have the ability to measure the air to fuel ratio by sticking a sensor in the tail pipe. By using this reading, you can perfect the air to fuel ratio of your engine to gain the maximum power out of your engine. This is the best way to make sure you are running perfectly. Ideal air to fuel ratios are 12.7-13.5 to one. That will be ideal, not too rich, not too lean. The ECM's target A/F ratio is generally 14.7:1, which is to lean to make max power, but is better for emissons. Any local speed shop that has a Dynojet Dynamometer should have the ability to record your A/F ratio as well.

How do you indentify the difference between the stock L98 injectors, and the SVO's. I just bought a Formula and was told the car had 30# injectors which would lead me to believe they would have been upgraded to SVO's but have been told they look like stockers. They have a light blue top on them but I thought the L98's where either black or grey topped? Any help would be appreciated.

Someone told me all the stock injectors were black in color, not sure if that's right but that's the story i got. My injectors are dark gray with silver tips so i have no idea what they are,or the size.

My SVO's are red an black(don't know why I forgot this) The stockers are black and grey, and you should be ableto get the part number off of them to verify it.
