Injector ? on Goautocenter's 300HP TPI
I plan on putting this motor down in my 89 bird, using the TPI off my LB9, plenum is ported and such, my question is can i use 30 lb injectors on this motor or will it be too much? I was going to go with 24 lb injectors, since a factory L98 uses 22's. But if I can I'd like to use 30's so i\I don't have to change injectors again later if I build it up. Would this be feasible or do I need to go with the 24's for now?

If you had the option of burning your own chips, I don't think the 24's would be too big. However, I just put this exact same motor in my TA with some #24 injectors and I'm going to have to burn a chip because it's running rich. I got stuck using them and I would much have rather just put some 22's in and not had to burn chips. Mine is running rich according to my autoxray, but I think I have a bad O2 sensor, that is screwing up some things. From what I understand the 30's would be way too big and you would have to burn a new chip to even hope to get them to work.
