TPI EGR valve #
Hello...Im wondering what part # is the correct one for a 87' Trans Am 305 TPI with the 700-r4. Are there many differences in the MAF years or SD years as well? The top of mine is faded/wiped off so I cant use anything for cross referencing . Thanks.

Paul, the ACDelco website shows for a LB9 motor GM part number 17087263 . The Delco number is 214-5538 if you want to try a local Delco dealer.
Hope that helps ya!

Thanks Steve....the part # doesnt show up available through gmpartsdirect.com....I wonder if the recent changes with the Delco line are responsible?
I found an old post with the temp switch too, but that #(14087416) does show up available. The EGR also in that post(17110784) isnt available through GM, apparently. Id like to get a Delco unit at the discount price on the website if possible .

Paul, check www.rockauto.com - they list the ACDelco 214-5538 for $46.79. Not bad, if you don't need it right away.
As an aside, I just bought an ACDelco replacement EGR for my stock '87 SS, and it had the Rochester stamping on it, and the original GM p/n.

I went to the dealer today and for a 87' Trans Am 305 TPI motor they gave me the # 17113483. I hope it helps someone else, Im guessing they changed part numbers recently again....parts guy didnt appreciate me just getting number and not buying it, but oh well, screw him. List is $75+ and through gmpartsdirect.com its approx. $50 shipped.
Sounds about the same as rockauto's. Thanks for the info Steve!
