stock TPI on afr 195's?

Has anyone tried to put the stock TPI intake on AFR 195cc heads? I Ordered the new 195's and i am going to try to keep the stock intake on it. I have heard that there is some modifications to the intake such as welding on it has to be done because of the size difference? Any info would be great!! Thanks

Hopefully someone else will respond and be able to clear this up for you.
I had kind of a similar issue around 6 years ago, I had got Trickflow Twisted wedge heads that I believe had 190-200 cc intake runners and my aftermarket manifold was on back order. I was able to use those with a stock intake base without any modifications, although I had ported it to match the heads anyway. Unless AFRs have some kind of strange intake runner configuration, which I doubt or they would require a specific aftermarket manifold. I would think it should be fine. When the heads arrive, just match them up to it and see.
Good Luck!

My AFR 195's matched a 1205 Felpro perfectly. You can use them as a guide until you get the heads.
