should i keep the L98 2 bolt main block or just go for a 4 bolt...?
well i have had in the works a project of which i am trying to decide on my engine.
i was wondering if my L98 2 bolt main block would be capable of withstanding up to 20 PSI? i have heads, cam, fuel system, and a balanced rotating assembly set up to work with what i want to do. this **** is getting expensive and i was wondering if i could use my 2 bolt block to save money instead of going out and buying another 4 bolt block then pulling mine and doing all this other stuff. so heres my question again...
Will my L98 2 bolt main block be capable of withstanding up to 20 PSI?

Not sure if the 2 bolt can handle it but you do have the option of taking your 2 bolt in to the shop and having giving it a 4 bolt splay. This'll actually make it stronger than a 4 bolt.

I'd have to agree.... a splayed 4 bolt block with kill a regular stock 4 botl block anyday. As for a price, I'm not sure... I'm looking into this right now!
