some questions
Hey all..new guy here, i have a 87 GTA with a TPI 350 in it, The motor is not original, its a 4 bolt truck block with a L98 cam and pistons, vortex heads with 1.6 rockers, scoggin dickey intake with edelbrock runners and 58mm throttle body and edelbrock headers. The fuel rail i used does not have the ninth injector for cold start, i would like to either get a chip burned to eliminate this and help with all the mods i've done or convert it over to a speed density system so it will start when its cold out.
Probelm i have is i can't find anybody to burn me a chip, and i can find no info on converting over to a speed density system. Which is the best way to go?? I also plan a installing a LT4 cam with some new valve springs real soon. I have looked into blowers for it to, but it needs to be a speed density system for them to work properly.

Welcome to thirdgen.org.
No need to convert to SD.
You can do this in one of a few ways...
Contact any of the chip burners and use an '89 EPROM, with Vat's deleted.
'89 is MAF with no cold start injector, but has VAT's...which your '87 does not.
Get the EPROM buning equipment...see the DIY PROM Board, and do it yourself...
You could try the DIY PROM Board to see if anyone is willing to assist you, but they discourage it....since it's an info sharing board, not a "PROM-for-hire" forum.
Good luck, it's easily overcome without switching to SD.

Hmmn, just read the rest of your post about running a blower...that I know nothing about...but don't know if you *have* to run SD with a blower??? Try the "Power Adder" forum...I'm pretty sure there's guys/gals with MAF running a supercharger.
