yes driving around you are mainly in the 2000-3000 range. dynos are WOT runs. not part throttle. you would have less of a loss at part throttle vs WOT. but overall you'll really like the intake. plus whatever loss there is can be a help in the traction dept. and don't just believe me. ask over at www.stealthram.com there will be plenty people to give you their opinion on the driveability.

Well, let's put it this way.... My best 60 foot time with the LTR was 1.9x; my best with the stealthram is 1.6x... Now, you tell me which one is faster stoplight to stoplight. Everybody's setup is different, but in my case, the stealthram was clearly the way to go. Of course, the miniram would have been strong on my setup as well.

not that any of this is of any importance, but i have a miniram III and it's the worst thing i've ever bought next to their other parts that i use to own like thier cam and stage 6 chip.
i too had to have my miniram returned several times in a feeble attempt to correct their casting problems which cost me out of pocket in shipping. i eventually had to pay another shop to fix the intake properly to work the way it should. i am still currently using it but it has been changed dramatically to work alot better. i would never recommend the intake to anyone. there are much better alternatives out there that are more worth while. most things out of tpis nowdays are a waste of money.
for those interested here is what i had. gm 383 shortblock, fastburn heads, zz-409 cam and miniram III. it pulled an embarassing 300 rwhp and 309 rwtq.
it didn't last long as the programming from tpis stage 6 chip was so poor it washed my cylinders and ruined my shortblock completely in under 600 miles. needless to say i ripped everything out that was tpis, modified my intake so that it actually produces and i'm much happier.
if i were to do it again i'd go with the SR, tpis is a joke.

The miniram mold is def.f taking a beating and needs some reworking. I can tell you that just from all the ones that get sent to me for powdercoating.
best Bang for the Buck is Deff. a HSR hands down.
If I had to pick in order id have to say
1. SuperRam
2.HSR
3.Worked over miniram
4.Worked Over LTR setup.(Sr base, AS&M runners)
5. Converted LT1
Only reason I say LT1 last is because I dont like the remote t state housing and coolant line mess.

After reading all of this, it makes me glad that I did not purchase the mini ram afterall! Of course, if it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't have even known about the stealthram! Thanks to all who contribute to this forum...

Only reason I say SR over HSR is pure Pizza box looks VS Tissue Box looks.
Then again I There is something about this HSR that catches My eye
maybe cuz Its Im doing a 418sb with Trin turbos and a custom lided HSR would look nice. Like Jmatlock88's milled down fin top.

I gotta admit the SR was a good all around performer, but I love the mid to high rpm rush the HSR allows, plus 36 less bolts to fool with.

I will be finishing the IROC this weekend. I just got back from my yearly vacation at Road America for superbike weekend. I devoted the two previous to my vacation to getting my bike done. It needed new hardwelded rockers to go with my billet Web Cams. I will say that I was disapppointed with the rear wheel power numbers on my GSXR1340 though! I only made 154 hp, and 91 lbs. ft. This doesn't sound too bad at first, but it made 170 rwhp, and 101 lbs ft last year! I need to figure out what is going on there.
Back to the IROC... I have the new starter installed, and one of my headers is back on with the new Percy's aluminum header gaskets. I just need to install the passenger header, and gasket (about 30 minutes max), bolt the Y-pipe back up, and re-adjust my valves. I should have something to say this following week.

Check Summit racing for the current pricing. As far as the E.G.R. you will throw a code until you get a custom prom with the EGR function disabled, or burn one on your own if you have the ability.
