Throttle Problems when engine is running.

Throttle Problems when engine is running.
I have a BBK 58mm TB just to start off. I thought that the throttle cable was the problem, but it wasnt because the Lokar unit is doing the same thing. With throttle off its just fine, nice a smooth. Its when the engine is running that I have the problem. Its not very smooth, and actually gets stuck. Once I get going though it does get better, but this is only when the tb blades are opened already. This makes it almost impossible drive smoothly, and I am really giving my clutch a work out trying to move slowly instead of burning the tires. Its just wierd that it is nice when engine is off. I have no issues with idle either, just when I want to go. Could it be a vacuum problem? Something with TB?
Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

I just finished up cleaning the entire tb, and made sure that all of the fittings were in good shape and that the iac was sealed. It still sticks though, but only from a closed position. Once the blades are open, it works fine. Again, any ideas, thoughts, or theories of what could be making my problem are all welcome.
Thanks again,
Joe

No idea man...how long have you had the tb for? I have my stock 48mm and my blades dont stick... check for any obstructions in the way of the blades.... sorry, i dont know what else could be causing a sticking if you cleaned everything up...

Thanks for the reply. I havent had a chance to work on the car since last weekend. There are no restrictions though, it just likes to stick when closed. I will have to get back to it this weekend. Thanks again

If it still sticks when closed after cleaning, try opening the blades a little at idle by turning the idle adjust screw a little to open the blades just slightly. Worked for me.

Thanks for the replys. I found some time to work on the car and ended up taking the Lokar bracket off and using the stocker. WOrked like a charm. Lokar bracket proably works great for the stock tpi, but didnt look right, and obviously didnt work right for the miniram. Thanks again for the suggestions.
