For those with SLP dual CAI...

a question: where did you mount your charcoal canister since it must be moved to accomodate the air boxes? Can it be deleted altogether?

Thanks,

MILT

I took my canister out and put a filter over the vent line from the gas tank.

So how does a person work around the upper radiator hose?

I've got the battery relocation mostly worked out, and relocating the crap in the engine bay doesn't seem too difficult, but what of the radiator hose and the support hook on the cooling fan support?

My SLP CAI came with a new thermostat housing and upper radiator hose.
I didn't have to use it on my setup since I didn't have a full serpentine belt,

The hose routing in your picture doesn't make sense.

SLP used the same intake on the Firehawk, in all the pictures I've seen of the Firehawks, the hose routes under the box... So how does a person use the Cold Air intake without looking like its pieced together?

That is the correct upper radiator hose for the install. I had the dual kit and it came with that same hose...I wound up selling the silly kit because of all the modifications required just to install it...All that trouble can't be worth the whopping 5HP you might see from the kit

that is the hose and the way it's routed when using the SLP Dual CAI on a stock TPI setup.
When used with the Mini-Ram or T-Ram, the radiator hose is nowhere in sight. I just looked at two firehawk engine bays just now.

The Firehawks had a different thermostat houseing that routes the hose under the serpentine belt at the alternator. It also included a different shield to protect the hose from being slapped by the belt.
