I saw this http://www.top-downsolutions.com/pro...products_id=97 for sale today on Top-Down solutions website. It seems to me that this really wouldn’t do much if anything. What do you guys think?

I don't know of many TPIs that 'bog' during hard acceleration so I think that is worthless.

Bog, what the heck is that? Isn't that the name they called the swamp in the 80's movie Labyrinth with Jennifer Connelly? :sillylol:

Really, this part sounds like a load of bs. Maybe it's a band-aid for a weak fuel pump or something?? I would think that the tornado would be a better value for the money.

I can understand that you TPI guys are confused. Perhaps if you guys visited the TBI forum or did a search in the TBI forum you'd understand the vacuum-delay valve, which is used in conjuction with the vacuum-adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Please re-read the description. I've revised the description to help end any confusion as to the intended application. I discovered that the VaFPR would flood the engine dumping too much fuel when the accellerator was floored. Many TGO Members (including myself) have already installed vacuum-delay valves in congunction with the GM 17113186 VaFPR with good results. If you aren't using a GM 17113186 VaFPR (which is used only on GM TBI engines) then don't order it.

Thanks, Lon

Thanks for letting me know the description needed clarification. I was taken aback initially with the comparison to that fine product the "Tornado". :sillylol:

He has a TPI car though therefore this is worthless to him. It may help TBI cars but that's not what he has and that's not the Forum he posted it in

Thanks for pointing that out, Danny. You're right, I was mistaking the tbi for tpi, maybe I need glasses...
