Baby won't start...

So I'm taking a nice, comfy turn in second gear, and suddenly the car is no longer running. Attempt at popping the clutch doesn't spin it back up, and turning it over kicks hard enough to start her, but it just keeps turning and turning without ever even studdering. Has been almost a week now, and same thing.

We verified that we're getting spark to the plugs, so no ignition control module issues. Someone suggested vapor lock, but supposedly that wouldn't be the case with a TPI that's sat for a week. We were going to check the fuel pressure to see if it's the pump. When we turn the key, the pump doesn't sound like it's turning on.

Any other ideas? Looking forward to rolling again.

Oh yeah, it's an '89 Formula, stock 305 TPI with no upgrades.

Oh... just read that you don't hear the pump... if you don't hear it then that's probably it

Thought about that. The fuses are all good. How can I test to verify they're working otherwise?

and if it is the pump not running, will it more likely be the pump itself or wiring burnout? Is replacing it the only way I'll know?

I'm not sure if there is one or not, but there may be a relay involved also.

Check the fuel pump relay, do a search for the rest of the diagnostic procedures on how to determine if its the fuel pump.
