SLP runners and Edelbrock manifold?

SLP runners and Edelbrock manifold?
I have an edelbrock manifold intended for a TPI setup. I am wondering if the SLP "siamese" runners will work with that manifold? The high flow runners were intended for the manifold, but they are a tad expensive. (unless someone is selling them)

I've been running this combination for a long time. It works, but that's about all I can say about it.
Only reason I installed the Edelbrock manifoild was that the stock one warped and the engine was sucking in oil from the lifter valley.
BTW, unless Edelbrock changed the design from the late 80's and actually put in some design engineering into it, it's NOT a direct bolt-in. I had to custom fab a coil bracket to clear the Corvette style EGR block-off plate, cut off and re-tap an A/C bracket boss.

Just a note on the SLP runners... If you have a cold start injector set up, you may have to clearance the cold start injector bracket to clear the lower portion of the runner. Mine caused a vacuum leak there until I ground down the CSI bracket...

My SLP runner were not nearly as bad as the ones in the post that Twilightoptics linked to, but they still had some problems to deal with. In addition to the CSI mounting problem I posted above, I had to enlarge the holes that the passenger's side runner attaches to the plenum through to get them to line up... whic I then had to send a thread chaser through two holes that I had tried to start bolts in a hurt the first thread of the plenum. I also had quite a bit of casting flash to remove from the ports, but again, not nearly as much as those horrid ones linked to in the other post.

The runners I recieved looked much better than the ones linked to, but I paid only $160 for them(on clearance). If you expect to buy any part and just stick it on directly, you're going to be dissapointed a lot of the time. Computers are like that, but mechanical parts take work to perfect. If you can't deal with that, pay someone to port match them for you.
