Which valve springs with "219" cam??
What valve springs are you guys that have the "219" cam using? I was using Comp 987's but i've been told that they may be to big for the cam. I'm also using 1.6 rockers so i'm getting .560" lift.
Thanks,
Paul

I use the 987s with my 219 with an installed height of about 1.750" (recommended). You should be fine with the 987s, they're good up to .600" lift.

I've got the 219 cam and 1.6 comp cam prog magnum roller rockers.
I'm running a Lunati spring recommended by and bought through Lingenfelter. I've got the install heights and pressures in the garage if you find yourself needing them.
Part # at LPE: LN0018DBLAS
Price Each: $7.49 (16 @ $119.84)
These shims were required also.
Part # at LPE: 10185066
Price Each: $1.46 ( 16 @ $23.36)
That was about a year and a half ago, not sure what they'll cost now. Also I don't know what cylinder heads you are running, but I had to cut my aluminum d-port gm heads to fit these springs. I'm also running a Lunatic titanium 10* retainer and the associated comp cam locks.
Good luck!!

Scorp, have you got the Lunati part number for those? It looks like LPE has them listed under an internal part #. LPE used to sell Comp Cams stuf, I wonder why they switched to Lunati. I e-mailed Tim at LPE but he hasn't sent a response yet.
Thanks,
Paul

Thank's for the tip. I think I will use the LPE recomended spring's, or I might take you up on the offer. I would rather not use the AFR spring's if it is iffy. BTW, I was talking to Carm (stroked81z or something like that) and he was telling me a bit about your car. I am in ottawa so I will send you a PM about those spring's and mabey come pick them up if that's OK wt you. I just wanna know if you are running a LTR settup, or the SR??
Thank's,
Cory
