Where to buy Earls 9894DBH and J???
I cannot find these anywhere on the net.
I have found the Russel equivalents (648070 and 648060 ) on jegs , but they are very pricy.
And im still trying to figure this all out still...
So basically its like this correct...
Where I have the blue arrows in my picture thats where the 9894DBH and 9894DBJ hook up.
The 991954 anf 991955 hook up to the Stealthram fuel rails and then mates with the newly attached BH and BJ?
Or am I way off? I put red arrows so if something goes there it could be referenced.
Guys I realize this has been posted, but I swear everyone keeps talking about custom lines to and from bla bla ...whats the point of these fitings if you have to run new lines.
and excuse my filthy engine

The 9894 fittings attach to the hard lines is a return. the fittings convert a 14MM and 16MM thread over to a -6AN thread. then you just put a -6AN hose ends on them 9894 fittings and make yourself some nice new fuel lines. The 2 stock rubber fuel lines are not used by 99.99% of HSR installers. I am in the process of gathering up the right fittings and just got one of the two 9894 fittings in the mail from Summit. They are $8 and are back ordered. Check out summitracing.com and type in EAR-9894DBJ and H. The fitting will come up and it will say if they are in stock.
Have you looked at Kevin Grays HSR install in the GMHTP mag? He has a pic of where those 2 fittings go.
The fittings I am using for my HSR install are:
9894DBH
9894DBJ
(3) -6AN hose ends
(1) -6AN straight hose end
10' stainless hose

Most of us are using the fittings on the hard lines as seen in this close up. If Summit doesn't have them, you might want to try here.

I ordered those fitting from anplumbing.com and I think they are backordered. I ordered about two weeks ago and have not gotten a shipping email. I will call them in the morning to find out what the deal is. Anyway, the fitting cost about $6 a piece.

Hmm its becoming more clear.
So basically this is what I have. I have to run off the hard lines , there they are converted to AN size. And from there its just a matter of getting fuel to the already AN sized Stealth ram rails? And this can be either in the front or the back of the manifold.
Im curious though, Bottled why would you have 3 hose ends and then the 1 straight end? And it that 10 feet of hose or 10 inches?
And kevin, did you route your lines to the back of the Manifold? In your pic it looks like there are lines going to the front, but I can definatly see blue fittings near the distributor and in your pic . And on the hard lines it looks like you routed them backwad twords the rear.
Thanks guys

I have 2 90 degree fittings on the feed and return lines on the frame. I have the other 90 degree hose end on the regualator. The straigt fitting is coming off the passenger side rail in the rear. None of this is put togehter yet. its still in my house. Im hoping the straight fitting will be okay with the dist. there. I havent decided which way to point the 90 degree fitting on the regulator yet. Maybe down or maybe toward the firewall. The 10 FEET of hose will be cut up into 2 lengths. The only thing I still gotta do is figure out which fitting I need to run my fuel pressure that is mounted in my cowl of my hood. Im gonna use the rear of the drivers side rail for that. most likely it will be a 90 degree fititng again.

That's how mine is routed. I used straight hose ends off the stock fuel lines. I also mounted the regulator with the nipple facing inward instead of out like the directions say. The 90 deg fitting will clear...I pointed it down 45 deg and used a 45 deg -6 AN fitting for the return line (see second pic)

Regulator facing opposite way...it's MUCH easier to adjust and you'll have plenty of room to turn the distributor provided you orient the cap properly.

Got the two adpaters in the mail.
Final question (hopefully)
Did you guys just get all teh NPT adapters at a local store, (ace, home depot etc) cause summit does not have them. They do have straight fittings but not the 45 degree and 90 degree ones

Hey Bottled
Awsome pic in your sig. How much did you pay to get your car painted? I know I am off topic but I need to get my ride some paint and am curious what others are paying.
Just to be on topic, I got my fittings today from anplumbing.com and ordered my HSR from Thunder Racing, should recieve in a week or two.
