Saw this on Pennock's Fiero forum:

So thats an aftermarket intake for a 2.8 MPFI Fiero right? If it is it would fit onto a 3.1 or 2.8 thirdgen... interesting.

Looks like a SBC intake to me. 8 intake ports, siamesed intake ports, distributor mounting, water outlets, etc.
I assume those bright metal inlets are actually individual TBs? The only thing i don't see is injectors, i guess they're hidden under the runners.
Anyhow, it's neat looking, but i bet idle control is a pain. unless it has some kind of common IAC passages.

No, that's for a V8...
It's definitely fabbed, though. Not some "new" production manifold. Looks pretty good from what little there is to look at. I'd like to see how the fuel system is set up..
There's just something cool about seeing four butterflies opening at the same time whether or not it's worth anything power-wise.

Unless there were two of them, that particular intake was fabricated in Lingenfelter's shop. It was for sale on eBay a few months ago.

Take it easy chief, no one said it was an LS1 intake. But it's undeniable the idea behind the LS1's intermediate runner lengths (as oppoesed to the TPI Long setup and the LT1 short setup) to get the best of both worlds is at work here. It even looks modeled after the LS1 design rather modeled after the HSR or such.

Think outside the box here for a sceond. Read what MrNova asked again
"Isnt that a little like the LS1 intake?"
And here's what I said in reply.
"Yes it is, in fact its basically the same idea..."
Maybe it doesn't look it to you but it looks more like an LS1 than anytihng else. But regardelss the fact remains that the idea (or one of the ideas) behind the LS1 intake was to have shorter runner lengths than an LTR setup for more hp yet not so short as the LT1 to provide for better tq. This idea is also obviously at work here in this intake. You can say all you want about its not being plastic or using individual runners instead of a plenum but the same idea remains.

I think those four wire looms looking things are the fuel injector power wires.

I have no idea where the injectors go, and when I look at it, I think of the TPI base with a throttle body mounted to each opening. Pretty slick, I suppose it would run like an LT1 or HSR

Wow, that thing would look so killer powder coated red under the hood of my car!! I was looking at it and I think it would really be a pain to get setup right though. I guess Mr. Lingenfelter really does get creative. Taking LS-1 technology and bonding it to a TPI base. Right on.
