TPiS.com Stock TPI kit

Hello all,..
I have a 92 Camaro 305 with factory TBI, I was looking at swapping it out for TPI.

I wanted to see if anyone has used TPiS.com's "Stock" setup kit to do this, and if so, did you have any issues? According to TPiS, the kit is complete.

Thanks for your help,

Rob

Considering what that kit costs, I can't imagine why you'd want to go that route. For $500-700 you can get a complete kit used that includes everything you need.

I am planning on keeping the 305 until I hit 100,000 miles and then I plan to put in either a 327 or a 350. I'm trying to do this project in steps. The TPiS kit is $2500.00 for the complete kit. The ones listed here are a lot less but look like they are missing items and or other issues...

Penny for your thoughts.

I see 2 choices.
1. Get cornholed at TPiS.
2. Learn enough about TPI to know what parts you're going to need, and start buying them. Complete & semi-complete kits are on ebay all the time. I'll bet you can find 20 or more complete TPI kits on ebay right now. You need to start doing your homework and learning about TPI and its components. What stuff there is, what stuff varies by year, etc.

Bwahahaha. If i had somewhere to do the work, i'd take $2500 to install a complete TPI system, including parts.

In other words, you'd have to be crazy to pay that much for so little, because i hate working on other people's cars, lol.

btw, if you want info on thirdgenresource, or any companies really, your best bet is to do a search, especially on the vendor board. Also, better to ask the question in the right place then here buried in another question.

If I were you, I'd go with the OBVIOUS choice! Getting cornholed! YEAH! Just kidding. Look on Ebay like everybody said. Good deal. If you convert a regular ol 350 like from a truck to TPI, do you need to get a new ECM? Matt
