I read a post elsewhere that they may be on a sinking ship. I'd wait and see whats going on, personally.

Thanks,

The factory is locked down and up for sale I guess. Something bout $17 million in debt. I've seen several threads/links and dealers talking about it. Rumor today is that Holley is looking into buying them, but someone working in the holley head dept hadnt heard anything about it. Lots of rumors, but no heads.

As for this questions I would run w/ the 200 cc runners.

However, if they are having some issues I wouldn't touch anything of theirs until you see whats going on.

Haven't heard anything about it, but seems odd considering the popularity of their heads.

If you can get them run the 200cc. The 180cc have been bench flowed to not flow nearly as high a numbers as pro claims below .6 lift.

Depends on the headers. I'm running Hooker 2460 shorties and have no clearance issues with my angle plug heads.

I read a post elsewhere that they may be on a sinking ship. I'd wait and see whats going on, personally.
Word on the street was that their Topline deal fell through and ProAction was going to get closed down by their government, not sure if its true or not but I found this a few months ago on another forum, but it is old and things may have changed since then.

Hi there,
My name is Greg Stokes and I represent Pro Topline Limited in the Sales/Marketing and Technical dept. I can tell you right now that the government have not, has not and will not close us down. Our relationship with Topline is still as good as ever and we are still as busy as ever. We have had a fantastic year and are looking forward to the SEMA and PRI Shows where we both have booths at and have done for a number of years. This year we drove a street roadster to Bonneville with SO-CAL Speed Shop and run 194mph with a blown 355 Chevy running 200cc cast iron Lightnings. We also had another successful season in the World of Outlaws with Donny Schatz and Rip Williams. Our 14 degree cast iron heads are now running 7.0 second ets in the ever competitive Jr Fuel class campaigned by Wayne Ramay, Dean Carter and Kelly Craig. The list of achievements and successes is very long and we are also having a bunch of fun doing it.

We pride ourselves on the most powerful cylinder heads in the world for small block Chevy, big block Chevy, small block Ford and now Honda V-Tec. Heck we even have a number of engines qualified in the Top Ten that run our heads in the Popular Hot Rodding Engine Masters Challenge.

We have the most diverse mix of cast iron and aluminum racing and stock replacement cylinder heads and I invite you all to visit www.protopline.com or email me at greg@protopline.com

Many thanks and kind regards,
Greg Stokes

I got the angled plug heads and have no problems with plugs with my hooker headers. What I did was take a spark plug socket and cut about a half inch off the end. Then I use an 11/16" wrench to turn the socket, I can get to every plug this way and it only takes about ten minutes.

I HAD a telescoping plug socket and with my hedman headers and angle plugs, it worked like a charm!
